Foster Kinship is a Nevada-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded on the belief that when children cannot be with their parents, they deserve to be with their family.
What is Kinship Care?
kin·ship care (noun)
The care of a child by a relative or trusted adult with an existing relationship to the child when they are unable to remain safely with their parents for a period of time. Kinship caregivers include biological relatives as well as fictive kin (family friends, neighbors, teachers, coaches, and other caring adults) who help children stay connected to family, culture, and community.
