Marcie's Heart Resource Center

Connecting families with the essentials they need and the community that stands beside them.

The Resource Center

When children move into a relative’s home, it often happens quickly and unexpectedly. Caregivers step in during moments of crisis, opening their hearts and homes without time to prepare.

We’re here to help make that transition a little easier.

Marcie’s Heart provides essential items like clothing, shoes, diapers, formula, car seats, and cribs, all completely free, so families can focus on what matters most: caring for the children in their home.

How We Support Families

1

Emergency Resources

When a child first enters your home, the immediate needs can feel overwhelming.

We provide short-term emergency items such as diapers, wipes, clothing, car seats, and cribs to help stabilize your family right away. From there, we connect you with longer-term support to meet ongoing needs.

Eligibility: Families must be actively working with a Family Advocate through case management.

2

Caregiver Corner Markets

Caregivers need support too.

Our Caregiver Corner Markets are designed to support adults and teens with clothing, shoes, and accessories.

Eligibility: After completing an intake, families can shop the market once per month. Appointments are required.

Market Hours (Las Vegas Resource Center):

  • Wednesdays, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Thursdays, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Saturdays, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Please note: For children’s clothing (newborn through size 10/12), diapers, wipes, or hygiene items, please connect directly with your Family Advocate. These items are not available in the markets.

3

Holiday Assistance

The holidays can be especially stressful for families navigating change. We provide support with gifts and food to help bring joy to children while easing the burden on caregivers.

Eligibility: Families must have participated in at least one support group or training within the past 12 months.

Note for all services in Marcie’s Heart Resource Center: Marcie’s Heart is powered by donations from the community, so available items vary depending on what has been given.
