Alisha McIntosh

Alisha, born in Long Beach, California, experienced foster care before being adopted and celebrating at Disneyland. She later worked there and met her husband there. In 2014, they moved to Las Vegas and Alisha started working in traditional foster care. She moved to Foster Kinship as kids deserve to stay with family and keep those connections. She's spent over a decade in child welfare and has been a kinship, foster and adoptive parent. Alisha uses her lived experience and personal story to help other families navigate through their journey. As a Family Advocate Supervisor, she's dedicated to supporting safe and healthy families, willing to sit in the heavy with caregivers and share her knowledge of resources with others.
