Leah Dods is Deputy Director at Foster Kinship, where she helps guide organizational strategy and leads key initiatives spanning program design, implementation, evaluation, and external partnerships. She oversees multi-state expansion and fidelity support for Foster Kinship’s evidence-based kinship navigator model, partnering with organizations to strengthen intake and assessment, case management workflows, family engagement practices, and data-informed service delivery. Leah also provides training and technical assistance for professionals serving kinship families, with an emphasis on practical tools and sustainable systems. In addition, she contributes to practice-informed policy efforts focused on children in non-parental care and improving access to legal, financial, and supportive services for caregivers, parents, and children. She holds a Master of Social Work from University of Nevada, Reno and is pursuing a Doctor of Public Policy at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
