Maria Agnes, originally from San Francisco, moved to Las Vegas in 2014 with her three children and in 2024 stepped into a new chapter as the legal guardian to three additional youth, because to her, it’s about the culture, community, and family. With 15 years of office management and HR experience, she brings strong organizational and problem-solving skills to her role as Lead Peer Parent Mentor and Senior Family Advocate.
Maria Agnes is a certified Circle of Security Facilitator, Camp Cope Facilitator, Child Advocacy Ambassador, and a Parent Leader in the state of Nevada for Safe Babies, a program of ZERO TO THREE. She also holds a Human Design certification, which informs her strengths-based, individualized approach to leadership; helping parents better understand themselves, their children, and how they uniquely show up in relationships and systems.
While she continues to support kinship families, her work now focuses on guiding parents through reunification and co-parenting journeys. Drawing from her lived experience, Maria Agnes helps families reduce fear, build transparency, and recognize their strengths. She leads with intention and faith, anchored in the belief that when we understand who we are and nurture what matters with purpose and consistency, growth follows.
